After I installed my intake I let the engine run for a few minutes for the computer to learn...I drove it around the block and my car was very sluggish...do I need to keep driving it for the computer to finish learning?

If its a CAI system, make sure you have the right sensor connected to the system. AEM's system leaves a factory connector unused. My damn check engine light stays on all the time, but I dont have any performance issues. If you had a spare connector after the install, you may want to swap it.

i just installed an AEM cai in my brother's car and someone told me to reset the ECU and let the engine run for about a minute. The intake is great and the pick up is very noticeable.

What do you guys do w/ the unused factory wiring? just bundle it up?? and does everyone has the same problem as MichaelH has where his check engine light came on after installing the intake? i'm guessing the light kinda get annoying if it stayed on all the time like that? any other suggestion?? thumbsup

as far as your CAI is concerned, go through your instructions again and make sure all the screws are joint screws are tightened and all the hoses are in their correct positions. thumbsup
