Well my friend and I was talking about how cars in the past contributed to the creations of newers car of today and he told me that the original name for the toyota Celica was called "XYR." I was for reals...and he showed me the information online...and he was right...and now he tells me to try to find a decal or emblem that Says "XYR" so i can be unique...

here is some info about the 1999 Toyota XYR concept car..

The lightweight XYR sports coupe styled by Toyota's CALTY Design Center is a look at the company's future direction in the high-performance sports car segment. It is one of three of the firm's vehicles to be unveiled at early 1999 auto shows aimed specifically at young new-car buyers.

The front-wheel-drive XYR is powered by an all-new, aluminum alloy, 1.8-L twin-cam engine codeveloped with Yamaha. The engine employs a new VVTL-i induction system that boosts output to 134 kW (180 hp) at 7600 rpm with the help of continuously variable valve timing and lift. The car has a 2590-mm (102-in.) wheelbase and a mass of 1135 kg (2500 lb). Suspension is by MacPherson struts up front and double wishbones in the rear, with 17-inch wheels and tires and four-wheel disc brakes.

"So we unveiled the concept car. Now we have to spend 2-3 years totally changing the styling, and we can release it"

"Nah... lets just put this one out. Oh, get rid of the riced-out spoiler and put a normal one on."

"You sure?"

"Don't question me! I'll send you back down to Honda where you belong!"

"NOT THERE!"
