Is the intercooler on top of the engine?

No its not top of engine, if you look closely he they put the engine up and picture is taken facing bottom of the engine. Where its contacting the floor thats where engine meets firewall, thus intercooler is in the front smile

Ooooh. Any more info on this? Price, availability, ect? I'm saving for rims right now, but if this is affordable (2,000-4,000), I might wait a year and get me a turbo...

No it has not been answered, but it is a good sign... Still have to crack the ECU. If it is easy to mod to fit U.S. Celica then there would be bunch of Blitz SC GTS running around already grin

Toyota will not do anything for any aftermarket companies (sad to say), so Tom's is on their own. But because Apex has that PowerFC that works well on a GTS should work for GT also, they can use PowerFC for their engine management. I hear AEM is coming out with full ECU replacement stand alone system, if it comes out it could solve Tom's problem also.

what about the Denso markings some of our parts? I thought they played a role in the Celica ECUs? If thats the case, couldnt TOMS just go to Denso for help? Well, both are companies that build race cars so I suppose they can do whatever they want with or without Toyota.

If that was true Blitz would have done so and their Supercharger would be out a year ago smile
Blitz is a huge and well respected company, probably bigger than TOM's so kinda shows Toyota will not help any aftermarket companies.
