FI will creat more exhaust pressure... and to effecivly let the pressure out you need bigger exhaust piping. The TRD exhaust has a pipe diameter thats not wide enough for optimal exhaust flow and a FI application.

If you turbo, you should go with 3" tubing for optimal performance. That doesn't mean that it wont work with your TRD exhaust, but if you want the most out of your turbo, a custom 3" exhaust would be the way to go. If your TRD exhaust is in good shape you can always sell it. There's always some one looking one grin

Yeah, but you might wanna put a cat to keep it street legal, so it wont be too loud. If you don't want to spend that much, you could always get the TRD supercharge, that's what I'm gonna do. I'm just waiting for the "new" hood that they're supposely working on. You can get the supercharge for $2200 on some site, and whatever the hood is gonna cost you. And installing the supercharge only takes 30mins & wont cost & take aslong as installing a turbo.

But you're a hp fanatic, then turbo is the way to go. No one said HP was gonna be cheap grin

In last yrs thread where they showed some pics of a celica with the TRD supercharger. I'll have to do a search for the site that had the supercharger for $2200.
