what are the advantages of having this for a GT. As everyone knows it needs as much hp as it can get and $300+ for 6hp is not bad... Should I consider this? GReddy e-manage [ monkeywrenchracing.com]

I don't know anything about that except that Monkey Wrench Racing is a very good company.

im sure its a good product, and it says if you have some bolt ons like intake and exhaust you can prolly get more power out of them so i'd say go for it

yeah I'm thinking with AEM CAI, HS Header, AEM Pulley, and TRD extended exhaust - I'll have slightly better gains with it than stock
Just wondered if anybody had any experience with it

I am working on a little project right now. I have the basic bolt ons and I am considering a port and polish job with this management system. I have already sent them an email...I am waiting for the reply. I will update you as soon as I get it.

don't you need a lap top for this e-manage to work? and does the package include the software?

You do not need a laptop to tune this unit. A shop with the proper equipment does the tuning for you.

ok, just did a little research on this...apparently this thing works very well without our ecu's having to reset anything...according to reports over at new celica a 5sp with CAI, hot shot header, apex-i exhaust and aem pulley made 11whp...wow ...that's neat...but 6whp from stock is not bad either...i guess this mod is good for people who already have the usual bolt ons..

You can order a preprogrammed unit...but it will not be at max tune for your specifc car...catch my drift? To get the max performance, you should get it tuned on a dyno. The shop that will do my head will tune the system. There are still assumptions about this unit being reset and whatnot. I figure what the hell...its worth a shot.
