Does anyone know if it's possible to use the TRD SS rod on 02 shift gates

I did. Just use your stock housing and TRD rod.

If you didn't have to pay anything for the TRD SS rod then you're laughing, go for it. Otherwise you might as well buy TWM or B&M because if you buy the TRD you're buying 3/4 of the stuff you can't even use. TWM is shorter and better imo

I just answer his question. He didn't ask which one is better. Plus TWM and TRD is around the same price. I don't see how you waste the housing by not using it.

Yeahhhh. Ok. So if they're about the same price but you buy the TRD and can only use the shift rod you're not wasting the housing? Anyways...unless you're really set on the TRD brand name you might as well buy what you need and get what you need but whatev, if you would prefer to have an extra, useless shift housing go for it
