normally people go with the sticker perhaps because it cheaper, and could be changed, but with painted graphics, they look better but you own them after they are done...

Paint is more respectable because vinyl is considered "cheap". However If you get tired of the graphics, and if it's vinyl. you can remove it and put a different one one. Check out www.vinylmayhem.com [vinylmayhem.com] They are really respectable and make A LOT of different designs .

Go with vinyl. Unless you are 110% certain that you want to go with paint, don't go with paint. If there is even the slightest possibility you will be pleased with vinyl, you should go with vinyl. Paint will score you sweet show points but only if it's done right thumbsup

thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup
Stephen's right, if you fuck up on a paint you're pretty much screwed, vinyl can be changed, and even though you may love your original choice, you may want to change it later. Go with the vinyl.

vinyl is very strong and nothing will happen to it if you treat it nicely. thumbsup

My friend has a custom paint job on his 93 Mustang GT. Its pearl white with ghost flames and some gun metal detailing. Its so nice. Vinyl is what most of the import drivers use, and it looks great. Personally, don't think you do vinyl until your car is "done".

I would say none, but if you must do it, use vinyl because you can take it off when you come to your senses grin or if your tastes change. Paint is permanent thumbsup

Think complimentary colors such as orange, red, gold even greens would look good as a contrast scheme. You could also use black, black graphics look hot on yellow.

Think like pearl orange blended into the paint, would look sharp.

Get yourself some color wheels and paint chips, and hold 'em up to your car, imagine a little, you're bound to come up with something great! thumbsup

Vinyl is okay, but you can get more detail and a certain "pop" from paint you could never get from vinyl.

They even have this cool new machine, it's like a long, flexible rolling inkjet printer. They place it on a body panel, hook it up to a PC, and "Print" photorealistic painted graphics onto a car, the process isn't cheap, but the cost is rapidly diminishing to the point that you could conceiveably print graphics on the car for the price of less than a normal paintjob.
