MAYBE $20k--most likey less.

aftermarket parts on cars don't do much for the value of your car. your car is very nice, but when you mod your car you are appealing to a VERY select market (since the market for the celica is already very low--you customizing your celica cuts into that market probably by about 90%--so your left with 10%--or even less--of the people you would be able to market it to if your car was stock.)

i could get more technical, but at a VERY basic level demand=price. since a modded celica demand is extremeley low, the price is lower than what the total cost of modding your car will be.

IF you still have all or most of the factory components of your car, i would HIGHLEY recommend you install the factory components back into your car and sell the aftermarket parts separately--you will get much more $$ this way.

although it is more difficult to do it my suggested way--your pocketbook will thank you like no one else can.

sound system & wheels (even this is optional) are really the only things that will retain most of its resale value if left into a car--because the market for these components is greater than that of other aftermarket parts.

and 1 more thing--it would probably help much more if you removed your graphics...that'll increase demand (trust) thumbsup

Like said above sell the celi stock (or as close as you can get it). Then piece out all your aftermarket parts.

if, however, you do plan to sell your car 'as is' then i would definately market your car on a national level--as already mentioned your local demand is going to be virtually nill.

use ebay and other car buying websites to help out.

also, steals & deals, news on wheels, & other more local car selling mags will help. thumbsup

Yeah, restock the car, then sell the parts on ebay or the group buys section. Love you car though, I wouldn't sell it.

You're gonna lose money on all the mods, so if you MUST sell it, part out all the aftermarket stuff and sell it as stock.

It looks like for a stock car with my milage I should be able to get around $19,000... I guess I need to find someone who likes the mods if I deceide to sell it...

I would think for everthing in it $21,500 would be an honest request...

The only reason I am even considering it is because my wife said I could get a 2005 Corvette... But, I would have to sell the Celica...

No need to listen to the wife, do what you want to do. even if that means keeping the celica too.

MY Celica is not a daily driver... Think about it I bought it last August and it has 3200 miles on it... The Celica is my toy... That is what the Corvette will be if I buy one...

My daily driver is a 2002 F150 Harly Davidson (Supercharged 5.4 liter)

why get a vette when you could insanely mod out something a lot cheaper!! perhaps turn a 240SX into a jdm silvia, possibly with a RB25DET eek

Cause the 2005 vette has 400 stock HP and torque. You'll have a hard time reaching those numbers, and it'll NEVER be as amazingly SWEET looking plus WARRANTED!

I guess the main reason I am considering the vette is the fact that it is already tuned... Syspension, motor, exhaust, interior and brakes... It is already almost the best you can buy and it is all installed and under warranty... I don't know, I have to sell the Celi first...
