This has been covered a ton, the "long one" is a Cold Air Intake (CAI). Yes, there is a difference is HP, CAI make a few more because of the colder denser air. Do a search and you will find all there is to know.

Yea, the longer one you are referring to is a cold air intake, while the shorter one is of course the short ram. The cold air intake does add a few more horses, and is better performance wise. But keep in mind that a cold air intake is more likely to hydrolock than a short ram, would is HIGHLY unlikely to hydrolock. If you want low end power, go with AEM, but if you want power in the higher RPMs, go with Injen thumbsup

CAI's give the engine colder air, which colder air has denser air in terms of oxygen, more oxygen going into the engine means more combustion, which then equals more hp...And yeah i agree as well, Injen gives more higher end RPM, and AEM gives more lower end RPM, its your choice, but i recommend, Injen for GT Manuals and AEM for GT/GTS Auto and Gts Manual..
