Should i sell my car? I can get a Evo 8 with 30,000 miles on it for 8 grand. The car needs all new tires, rims, and exhust system though. I dont know though. I love my celi and have only had this one for about 6 months. I had a plan to save up and buy an evo when i was 20 so i wouild be out of school and no pricks would mess with my ride. Also i would be a better driver by then and could afford insurance easier.

it would be a sic car, but iono, celica will last forever, and i dont know about mitubishi reliability. iono, if i were you i would consider it. i thought for a while about selling my celica, and getting a 97 eclipse GSX, but then i thought aboutit more, and decided not to. its ur choice

If I were you, I would just keep the celica, and wait a few more years before getting an Evo. Not only does it use more, expensive gas, but insurance on it would be a bitch grin

Sell the Celica and use that money into fixing the Evo. I'm sorry, but that's the best choice unless you're mainly for looks. If someone offered myself the same deal... take the Celica away. The Evo has more aftermarket support in all aspects and stock would eat the Celica alive.

Your confusing a Mitsubishi with a Kia. In my opinion, any car company that has the balls to put out a turbo charged four putting out 271 HP and a rally pedigree needs some respect. Sure it's uglier than a Celica, but that's where it ends. The same with the STI. The list goes on for aftermarket support to push those cars in acceleration, handling, and braking that would far exceed the Celica's and some Exotic cars bone stock. Stock for stock or a Celica turboed, the EVO and the STI would kill it.

I'd keep the celica...the evo might be faster, but the celica looks cooler...plus...even though its a good deal...i really wouldnt want 'someone elses problem'.

IMO I think you should just keep your celi...you have only had it for 6 months. AND the evo is DAMAGED, why would you want to buy damaged goods?

Depending on your plan for the future, you could go one of two ways. If you like performance, i would go EVO8 Because it's a factory turbocharged car so you can get more performance out of it in the long run. But if you like style and show, i would stay celica. There is a lot of potential for the body styling in the Celica.

Knowing the path and choosing the path are two different things.

I had a one on one day with the celi (lol) and decided to keep it around a while longer. I will just get and Evo or something at a later time.

i'd say keep the celica...mitsu's arent known to have the best reliability compared to toyota...plus this is the last generation of our 7th gen...its bound to be a classic like like the all mighty supra
