Before my 7th gen days I use to own a celica GTS 88' an a 87' gt convertible. Both of these had rear hatch pops. These were located just to the left of the driver's seat. This absence is my biggest complaint in the 7th gen's. Everytime I start up my car (to warm up). And someone wants to toss something in the back like a snowboard or a mountain bike (oh how I love the room) I have to shut off my car and open it. What a pain! Can someone figure out how to create a hatch opener? Maybe a remote one would be cool. Also how about some hydraulics under the hood. Where should I bolt them?
