Im thinking about selling my 02 GTS. Do you think I should leave it modified and sell it privatley or turn it back to pretty much stock trim and just trade it in. which would i end up getting the best return on. i have i/e/h, shortshifter, taillights,corners,hoodscoop,18 rims and tires, lowered, full audio and am in the process of painting my interior up. what should i do.

only thing is that no one has any money around here. its got 12 grand for miles, what do you think would be a good price. paid 25 for it, has the action package, plus about 6 or 7 grand in extras??? all around great shape.

get your celica as close to stock form as possible, then sell the aftermarket mods you have independently.

also, if you have time, don't trade your car in--sell it privately. you'll get much more $$ this way. thumbsup

take off all aftermarket parts out and sell em to ppl at ec.com. a lot of ppl will buy the stuffs you have if you give them a good deal. you will end up making more money than selling it with the car. and if you sell these stuffs with the car, the demand for it lessens since ur car is modified and some ppl will be afraid to buy it since its modified and think that you probably damaged the engine/transmission. take ur time and sell it privately put it on autotrader or something. it probably will be hard to sell it though since dealers now are giving celicas a little cheaper since its the last year and not a lot of demand for it. probably you can get a gts with action package at 23K from the dealerships now.

You might get more money if you sell it stock, and then sell all of the after market parts separately thumbsup

i bought it with a special TRD package with it that included the lowering kit, exhaust, 17 inch rims and tires, it actually listed for almost 32000 but i still got it for around 25. i guess im gonna have to keep the exhaust and suspension on it cause i never had the stock parts. should i keep the header on and save the hassle and maybe they wont notice it????
