Guys, I need help on this one. I bought a 2000 celica gts w/21,000 on it 5 months ago. I didnt noticed it until now that my door alignment is not even. The top part of the door when close (from rear view) look like its hanging out a bit (kindna like it˜s not clost). Make my car look ugly from rear view. Like the door is falling off angry. Both of my door are like that. Anyone in here have that problem. And how can it be fix?? Its cover under warranty??? Or Maybe its a defect?? thanx

Is It the plastic piece that runs along top of door next to the glass, cause if that is it and it sits too high, its because its broke. Look at the end of the door when its open and you'll see that the plastic weatherstripping is cracked. it does not mean anything otherthan possibly more water slips into your door nexto glass. If you would like the part number to replace it I can find it out, just pm me

By the way mine is exactly as I have described and nothing bad has resulted so it should be fine

yep. dont think everything is reported. dealerships work with some body shops when they have hit cars and they dont report, and even move the mileage back. dont wanna give stories about it, but there are a lot of crazy stuffs ive heard. its good that ur car is certified though, you can definetely take ur car to the dealer and complain about it. it might be something wrong with the plastic seal between ur the door and its frame. or maybe it moved a little and it doesnt close the right way. can you hear metal noise hitting each other?

thirded... cars get banged up all the time comming off those trucks that deliver them to the dealerships.. and dealerships just "fix" it and it's history... i had a feeling my car was hit in the back but the dealership closed like 2 weeks after i got my car.

I finally when to the dealership and they told me it's not the weatherstripping. Don't know why that is because my weatherstripping look very rust up. They told me the (metal lock) on the door need to be re-adjusted. Any comments on this before they messed up my door?? Thanx
