yes, very little (probably about 1 hp), but you get better throttle response which is why I chose it

At the wheels?? Like one. Better off to have a pro do it unless you have a torque wrench and stuff.

i installed mine by myself. it was fairly easy. the only hard parts were getting the alternator out and installing the new belt. there is a deffinate increase in throtle response 
a kid told me that celicas handle like crap... i laughed
