What oil grade shall i use for 2000 gts manual please? Do you recommend Omega as engine oils. The 757 or 777 are supposed to be gr8 oils altough they are expensive. check it out and comment http://www.magnagroup.com/products/omega/auto_lub/search/gasoline.asp

is it just me but, when I switched from using Castrol 10w-30 to Mobil 1 5w-30, the engine seems a bit louder than it was before when i was using castrol 10w-30. Both types of oils are full synthetics. So, is it just my imagination or is it becuase I switched to a lighter weight?

What about 15w40, should this be more protective or it has more friction and reduces power. What is the Toyota standard oil type and grade?????

15W40 is really too thick of an oil for our smaller engines. That type of oil is used more for Diesels.
