so i go to sears to get my tires rotated today. they try and take my end cap off of my Racinghart c3 rims (unsuccessful)! so they tell me i should have gotten a rench in the shape of my end cap which i knew nothing about! anyone no how i get to my lug nuts on my c3 rims?

thats the problem, i dont no if im supposed to twist it or pop it off? and i have never heard anythign about this rench!

my friends uncle has the C2's. i dont know if theyr the same, but the middle thing looks the same. he said that he has to take it off with an allen wrench

isnt there a little slot you stick a flat head screwdriver into to open it?..actually it couldnt be because even sears would know that... confused i dont remember, and that pics pretty bad..hold on i'll try to find out

I'm just guessing here, but maybe you could use a ratchet/socket set that will get in there to the lugs without taking the center cap off. Otherwise the center cap should pop right off. I'm not sure about the center cap either it might be screwed on and Sears doesn't want to take the blame for scratching them trying to take it off. I don't know.

i was looking at my new rims and trying to take my center cap off too...i dunnno if it screws off or pops off... im too nervous to scratch or bust it...i have katana vr-6s (racing hart cr 3 piece knock offs)

ya same here, i've been tryin to figure out how to get them off all night, im to afraid to pop them off (might break) or they are screwed on to tyte cause i cant even turn them!

I have the exact same rims, the center piece just pops off. The center piece is very tight though, so be careful.

did you just pull if off wiht ur hands or did you use something to pry it?

alright, i called the place i got my wheels from and they said there is some 'key' that unlocks my cap so i can get to my lug nuts.. guess i have to go get this key now
