What are some good looking carbon fiber mods and when is it too much? I don't think carbon fiber trunks look good on cars but what about gas cap covers? Carbon Fiber hoods look great, are there any other Carbon Fiber mods you can do to the exterior that would look good?

after you do all the sheet metal on the outside of your car, then it would be close to to much, but not quite there

Sounds good. I just don't want it to end up being one those things overdone things, like how many times do you see a vehicle with WAY too much chrome. Chrome used to be cool back in the day, and now chrome=rice. Hopefully Carbon Fiber is here to stay and isn't a fad.

The reason I ask is because I'm plannin on makin a Del Sol my new project car and am tryin to think of a theme. Thinkin about goin pure white with gun metal rims, Carbon Fiber hood, wing and other black or Carbon Fiber accents. What do you think?

hum... i think Carbon Fiber fenders are kinda overkill. I've seen Carbon Fiber trunk lids on the IS300. Overkill, IMHO. But, then again, it is not my IS300.

hood, spoiler and mirrors ... thats all that one car should have on the exterior.

IMO... i would probably paint a Carbon Fiber hood anyways.

I just went with the Carbon Fiber Invader hood, with the gunmetal rims. I was going to get the JDM gas tank cover, but decided not to grin

The only thing Carbon Fiber on my interior is like the center dash console...You know the one that is an option in the celica tongue
