Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior is this sound system setup alright ?

single ten" type-r series [2ohm+2ohm] by alpine
2/1 v12 400x1 amplifer by alpine
headunit/monitor/dvd player by alpine

i'm looking for clear, high quality sound but with some bass power. i buy original cd/dvd so i want the best quality sound i can get out of those.

If you want high quality sound you are going to want to upgrade your factory speakers as well. Find some powerfull speakers as well as an amp. You should have a high quality sound after that. Other than that what you have got planned sounds fine.

get JL XR or ZR components in the front...

true, but its odd the price difference between the two. i have XR and love em (gonna swtich em out next summer)

but XR are like 200$ or whatever ZR's are like 800$/pair

whats the difference between componets, and just the 6.5 speakers that go in the front?
