there are only two bare wires on the gauges...

the red one should be your positive line (+)... goes to your headlamp as photo'd above

the black one should be your negative line (-)... goes to GROUND or (-) Terminal on your battery

...

both pictures look much better in a photo program where you can ZOOM in for detail smile

improper wiring. your guy possibly hooked them up incorrectly or to a device that is not constantly giving enough electricity.

you might also want to do a full color sweep/bright-dark sweep with the controls. sometimes the colors rotate for several minutes until you do something (if they are not hooked up correctly)

you might also want to check that your ( ) is hooked to ( ) and the (-) is hooked to (-)

I took my gauges out to cut the wire for DRLs. or the reverse beep noise. WELL, either one. And I had to unplug the two wire harnesses.
Just plug them back in and it'll run fine. smile As long as you didn't yank real hard on the gauge cluster trying to get it out (before seeing the harnesses). spineyes

I tapped mine to the Cigarette lighter light... connected the positives and ground to corresponding wires.. the colors are the same as explained above.
