All you do is slide them in place...they stay in place b/c of the rubber linning. It is very hard to make them (I have tried myself...but cutting the metal wire is so hard to do without bending the mesh) When I was buying all the the supplies to make the seat grills, everything cost me around $25 dollars (rubber...a thin rubber hose that you slice one side open, so you can fit the mesh in snug & protect the seats, mesh, and metal cutters.) And it was really hard for me to find the same exact rubber that was on my orignial seat grills (I sold mine.)

I found that exact mesh in the air conditioning section in Home Depot (its sort of square in shape, thats why its hard to cut and keep it shape at the same time). But maybe if you find a nice looking chicken wire that would probably be a lot easier to cut. thumbsup

everything can be found at your local HomeDepot and purchased for under $25 - to make atleast 50 sets

To cut the rubber "hose" just use a letter opener like this one:

So... tell me the secret Isaac. grin

just use a dremel to cut the metal... WAY EASY.

and you can use a box cutter for the hose, or a dremmel... cake.
