I got this in the mail from toyota the other day:

"In certain late 2002 through early 2003 Model Year Celica vehicles, the fuel tank check valve, locatedin the fuel tank inlet pipe, may become separated from the inlet pipe and fall into the fuel tank. If the check valve falls into the tank, fuel may spill from the fuel inlet pipe wht the fuel pump automatically shuts off during fueling. In the worst case, this may result in a fire in the presence of an ignition source."

Thats right kids a recall on the celica, how fucked is this wtf

BTW the notice also states that it will only take two hours to fix, my car has been in for two days now because the dealer still does not have the "special tools" to perform the repair. thumbsup

i got that same piece of mail. i havnt gone in to get it fixed tho hehe. ill prolly let em do it along with the 50k check. im almost at 20k

if your almost at 20k why not get it done with your 20k service? wtf

Only ask because what if your the one that the damn thing falls off for and then your leaking gas all over the road wtf thumbsdown confused
