Anyone know how to remove that sob??

yes, you need to drill out the center of the two rivets which are holding it in place. When you open the fuel door, they'll be on the "left side"

almost forgot -- before you get started, you DO have two new rivets to replace the old one that you're about to drill out right? spineyes

where can you get the correct new rivets Evan?

You can probably buy a rivit gun at walmart. Look around, some even include different size rivets. When drilling out the rivit, you only need a drill bit, a bit bigger than the hole. Don't try to drill off the whole riveit, just the inside. Then it will pop off. Picture the rivit being like a nail, you don't have to drill the whole head off, just the thickness of the shaft, which is a bit bigger than the hole.

Also, you don't have to drill really deep either. I'll take a pic of a rivet later and show what's what if you need more help.

Try your local Toyota dealer. They do sell the rivet guns and rivets for $12 at my toyota dealer's parts dept.

I just had my local bodyshop do it.. took 'em 5 seconds and they didn't even charge me grin

Coz everyone in Seattle is nice. I don't think you could get away with that in southern california.
