Hey everyone...new to the board (long time reader, first time poster)

What kind of shortshifter do you guys recommend for a 2002 GT?

I've only heard of
TRD
TWM?
B&M

My issues...

-does the TRD quickshifter fit on the 2002 model?

-is there considerable more feedback in the shifter? (One thing I love about our car is that compared to many other standard cars that i've driven there is WAY LESS feedback in the shifter. grin thumbsup I don't like it vibrating like crazy thumbsdown )

Get TRD. I have 2k gts w/TRD quickshift, feels good, short throw, easy install. Plus, I couldnt find another shifter that offered a more reduced throw than the TRD, so when in doubt get TRD.

i was going to go with trd, but I'm going to go with twm now I think, shorter, and more reduced throw

trd-tallest, least reduced throw, smoothest
twm-shorter, more reduced, less smooth
bwm-shortest, most reduced, least smooth

thats what I've gathered, some people switch the twm and bwm though

the install is pretty easy...if you get the B&M, the instructions are really detailed so it shouldn't take too long...

MichaelH: did the TRD one fit straight out of the box? I've heard that it doesn't fit with the housing because its diff in 2002, so you have to use the stock housing... confused confused
