I had this photoshoot done after SEMA and it finally came out. I never thought it would be this big. 6 pages with huge pictures! I'm so stoked when I got my copy today straight from them. It should hit US newsstands next week. I'm gonna buy like 5 copies. More magazine to come. I'll post those when it comes out.
Also, there was one thing I was kinda upset about. They messed up and put my friend's name on the credits. They even used his picture. I guess it was my fault since I didn't drive my own car to the photoshoot. He drove it for me. It's all good, I'm still very happy. I just took pictures of it. I'll see if I can scan it and make it better. The article talked about my car being raffled out for a charity that I'm involved with. Hence the title "Sweet Stake". Plans for that has changed since the article was writen. We're going to raffle of a Pontiac Vibe GT instead.
You didn't get that car from ebay did you? There was a car like yours, if not, a few months ago. Mucho phat nevertheless.
No, I built this car for SEMA about 8 months ago. I bought it from Frontier Toyota brand new with 7 miles on it. I do have a twin running around, but I don't think his car was on ebay. I think it was Armando's car that you saw on ebay. His car was on there a while back.
Bought Max Power today especially. Have to be honest, i'm not very impressed with it. The colors don't do it justice and neither does having a million sponsors written all over it. Probably the worst example of the APR kit I've seen. Now this is how its done!
Or even this. But I have to be honest I'm going off the APR kit. The front (which is the biggest factor with the celica because it looks so much better from the front than any other angle anyway) is nowhere near as nice as the Veilside fronts and I think if you take away the arches its not such a great kit after all. I think it should inspire Veilside to think about designing a wide arch kit though. Now that would be something!
with that red body celica, they have a carbon fiber hood and carbon fiber hood spoilers, where can you find the carbon fiber hood spoilers, i havent been able to find that, how did he get them that way!!

I guess you don't really understand how sponsorship works. I could have paid up to $25k retail for all my parts, but why. I am required by contracts to have those stickers on my car. Yeah I don't like them either and would rather not have them, but it is what pays for my mods. Besides, the red car and the blue car (which is actually the red GT-300 photoshopped blue) have more vinyl on them than I do.
