Whats up fella's I was wondering if the 2zzge motor is unreliable if you rebuild it? is this true or false?
Is there a lot of aftermarket parts for this motor? thanks grin

After market parts for the 2zzge exist. but there aren't very many and they are expensive. If you're planning on building a 2zzge motor then you would have to custom a lot of stuff and it would be expensive. I don't see why it would be unreliable though.

if you got the hookup at a machine and dye shop you will save yourself a shitload of money

Well I am goin' to school to learn get ASE certified, and at school we do have a dyno, but I heard that the 2zzge motor maxes out at 220hp confused

Which motor is better to build the 2zzge or the 1zzfe? b/c the 2zzge already has high compression so i was just wondering. grin

GT is a breeze to work on. GTS (because of high compression) is a pain. You will get larger gains with the GTS mods, but I THINK it takes longer to tweek the motor just right. At least you got a dyno smile
