I have already decided to get a celica gts and it will be my everyday car. I have to drive through traffic everyday to work and home but the weekend is free and clear. I was wondering if the manual is enjoyable for traffic driving or should i just get the auto. I know the auto is slower thats why im very heavily leaning towards the manual. So any suggestions as to which one to get would be helpful i am also going to be fixing the car up i/h/e limited slip and new suspension and Kaminari body kit.

get 2 transmission, and replace them during weekend.

rent a car for a few days(stick), and drive it in traffic. if you dont mind then buy the celica. remember celica will be funner to drive than the rent, but you still cant do much if you stuck.

Manual is fun, and it's a really good transmission too, pretty smooth, even the shift gates.

But as said, driving in city traffic with a manual is a pain, but it's a small sacrifice to get that Performance on the weekend, and having six-speeds is great.

Word. Same situation with me. I got the auto GTS, and now I'm planning in trading it this summer.
