I ordered the full lighting special from here a while back, before the end of PayPal. The High Beam bulbs I got say 100W -> 150W. Shouldn't it be lower than that? I don't want to put these in the car and have them burn a wire or something.

Also, anyone know when either we'll start using PayPal or some other online money system again?

you can ask isaac about the paypal thing, send him a pm.

as for the bulbs, yes those are higher than stock wattage. some people said that they fried their wiring harness or other things.. others have said they've had no problems with 'em idunno

it's your choice, but personally I'd just get some bulbs that use stock wattage to be on the safe side.

I currently have MTECH 4x installed all the way around since November (6 months), the brightness is much further and I've checked my wires as recently as last Saturday while in Palm Springs and always check the temperatures - MTECH 4x runs at pretty much the same temp as the stock lighting.

Because of the technology that MTECH uses in it's bulbs, MTECH 2x runs cooler than stock and MTECH 4x runs at about the same temperature as stock

Off-brand bulbs that are available at your local pepboys/target/autozone run at a higher temperature than stock - even with the correct wattage- for those off-brands, you should use caution

MTEC 2x is bright and is a significant upgrade to stock... MTECH 4x is the same brightness as MTECH 2x except that it shines for a much further distance
