40 mm is 1.5" so you can go with Eibach Pro springs. 1.5"(Drop) it's not that low ,you will notice only slight difference. And you will be ok on the snow. I was driving my Celica last winter and i was ok (Eibach Spotlines,VS-1) P.S.If you buy TRD springs they (TOYOTA DEALER) will put it on. Do not know about the oter brands. But why don't you just do it your self? It's not that hard.

depending on where you live and how the roads are should help you to determine how much of a drop you should go, or so i believe. me, i live in an area were there are many potholes and bumps. but i still went with a 1.8 inch drop with stock shocks (since my car is still new) anyway. it's all about avoiding potholes and bumps as best as you can. if you want to look agressive, get low. but just know you have to watch out for those damn potholes. good luck.
INJEN for your engine.

Toyota will most probably do it, but they've got a fixed price (i.e: they don't charge by the hour) for jobs like that. Call and ask for a price.
As said above, how much you should/could lower your car depends on the quality of the roads where you live. in my part of norway (oslo area) it sucks, big time! and there's things like speed bumps etc you need to take into concideration.
Drive up to the worst speed bump you can find, get out of your car and measure how much clearance you've got between your front and the speed bump. that's a start.
