Well, i just got my re-enlistment bonus back today!!! Lump Sump of 20,000...added to my 5400 from my grandmother!! I already decided what to do with my grandmas 5000, i have a previous post about it, but now with 20 grand i have more options, i am going to put about 10000 of it on the stang however, (again previous post, quick info, 1965 gt) but i have a new idea in mind, like i said before the interior is new except for carpeting and i need a new paint job, but the labor for the paint is free, all i do is pay for the paint, so i still have 10000 grand, so what im doing is putting a new aluminum 1967 shelby cobra 460 Crate Engine at 535Hp, with a edelbrock supercharger made for that engine...i am obviously going to go with more, but thats the main thing right there, that alone will put me at over 650Hp, plus other mods like magna flow exhuast,etc...Plus ill put 5000 grand into savings and 5000 more onto the Celi, ill have two awesome cars, so, i may not be able to get many wins with the gt, but my cobra will kick ur a$$!!!!

Also, i plan on putting a 5-speed MT with a built-in throwshifter, or a Performance auto Tranny, i also want to put in a roll cage, but i want to try to conceal it as much as possible, i am also gonna get new tired to replace the old tires, and get some drag radials for the track, new paint job, new carpeting, maybe a 5 point harness, but i want it to be a bolt on, so that i can remove it when im not racing and keep it stock, put in a custom carben fiber hood, but paint over it so that you cant tell, and other numerous mods, other then that, i am about to have a lot of fun!!! Can't wait, though it sucks because i have to wait until august, since i am in the middle of moving from my current apart to a bigger one, and i want to wait until after my baby girl is born, but i can start buying the parts in the meantime for both rides, so ill keep you updateded, but the minute i can start taking time away from my wife and kid, its custimazation time!

the best thing is that the 65 stang, comes no bigger then a 289, with a 220 hp, the 1967-68 is the year that has the 460 cobra engine, so people wont know what i have under the hood, so they'll think that i have a 289 with a s/c, but when i destroy them, thats when ill show them the 460!
