that guide is for the the 00, 01 and 02 front...

MAD_GAME, I have a spare 03 front sitting in the garage, Ill attempt emblem removal this afternoon and post some pictures when I'm through - either way, it looks as though (just like prior year models) the front bumper has to be removed, to also remove the emblem.

Yes, I've taken mine off to paint. It is NOT bolted on. It's held on by adhesive. Just use a hair dryer and some dental floss to remove it.

Any more q's, send me a pm. wave

My 03 had little pegs with pieces of metal attaching it. All I did was carefully grip the badge and and rock it back and forth until the plastic pieces got hot and snapped - be extra careful to not do it too hard and pry your mesh loose.

the pegs are just to make sure you that it goes on in the center properly. They don't actually hold it in; that's what the adhesive is for. smile

All I can tell you is NOT to use a screwdriver and paint thinner like my friend did on his Civic.

Technically no. We don't have that in Canada. It isn't really a dealer option you would have to buy the special edition GT or GTS to get the TRD Kit that I have.

Thanks for all your help. i got some cutters and snipped the emblem off, and slid the washers through the bigger parts of the grill.

Does the fact that you live in canada and use different terminology to describe the same bumper actually change anything relevant here? No, it doesnt. What I said about the emblem still holds true. happywink
