Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior gun metal rims?

I was seriously thinking about getting some tenzo r mean 6 rims on my car. The one's I liked are gun metal with a chrome polished lip. However I am concerned about how this will look on my white car. My friend said it wouldn't go with my car too well. He suggested for me to get silver or chrome rims... what do you guys think
If you have pics of white cars with these rims or with any gunmetal rims please post I would like to chek it out first
