Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior TRD kit- hole in the front!

Well, as most of you know, there's a hole in/on the front bumper of the TRD kit.

As you can see, the TRD plates will mount in the spot intended for the front license plate, but without extending down in front of the wire mesh below.

To cut to my point, my question, before I ramble on anymore: I have a red celi with trd kit. Should I get the plate with the red lettering to match the body, or white lettering to contrast a little?

I was thinking red, but then started to wonder, what if I get clear blinker light covers, or white rims. I think I'ma stick to my decision with red.

Any opinions?

They're pretty cheap, get both! White would go with your rims, and if you had white rear fill-in letters that would look good. Red would blend. I have a TRD bumper waiting to be painted, my car is yellow, so I bought a yellow one.

white would go good with your headlights and clearcorners if you have those...i have a spec blue celi and i purchased a gray/silver color..it looks good with my invader hood, tinted headlights but white should contrast nicely
