I saw on the MWR website that the wiseco pistons come in an 11:1 CR and says "naturally aspirated." Would these provide any gains/improvements in this ratio? Would getting the +.5 mm bore help as well? I was thinking about doing header and pulley next but if the pistons would make more of a difference then I'd go for them. THNX in advance.

My advice is, when you start talking about high compression, naturally aspirated engines, you need to rev high to take the best advantage of it. That's GTS territory there. The pistons would probably give 5-7 hp tops with the overbore too. You'd end up having to use higher octane gas too. And considering the cost to machine the block, it's not worth it. If you want big NA numbers save for a 2zz, if you want big Turbo hp numbers, save for low comp pistons and Turbo.

also be careful when slappin on a crank pulley. if you get i use it for track only. you risk blowing your oil pump.

I've got the MWR internals (weisco pistons, crower rods, valve springs, etc...see profile)... I went Turbo on my last car, and when I bought my GT I wanted something more reliable in case I wanted to drive a little rough in my GT...it seems to Rev a little faster (maybe just me), and I do have to use premium gas now too. if you are looking for tons of HP then I say go lower compresison and go Turbo. I drive track days at road atlanta, and stay at pretty high revs longer than just the time it would take to drag race. I got the new internals so I wouldn't have to worry about valve float, and would be able to stay faster for longer without worrying about my engine life.
