Hi, I'm planning on taking off my "GTS" symbol and painting it a transparents smoke black to make the tacky red and gold much more subtle, and I was wondering what type of glue do I use or should use to put the badge back on.

Thanx a lot guys wave

3M might work, but I don't want the thing to fall off when I'm driving and leave and mess up my paint job any one else?

wtf Just go buy a brand new emblem at your toyota dealership's parts dept. It won't cost you more than $10 probably. That way you'll have brand new adhesive wink

The front one was about $25, so I'm basing my figure on that. Since the "GT" and "GTS" emblems are much smaller, I figured they'd be a little cheaper idunno

Well I went to the dealership today and they were asking for a whopping $28.80 for a SILVER badge not gold angry angry angry angry angry. So I'm deffinately going to find an alternative, but I will look into the 3M double stick tape, would Wal-mart have the tape?

think about it: it's gonna be nearly impossible to cut the tape so that it fits perfectly behind all those letters.

Just break down and buy the damn emblem. Yeah, it's a ripoff, we all know that. But you'll only buy it ONCE EVER, and then you're done.

rofl I'm all about being cheap, believe me. But just think about it: it's something you'll only ever have to buy ONCE.
