ok i just did a search on the trd headers for a celica and in the trd catalog they don't have it. so only i have heard terrible reviews of lost hp gain and of leaks. the only good new is on some reviews there was 7 hp gain and 2.5 low end torque gain. but $750-$800 isn't worth it. most people say not to get it and toyota won't even warrenty the product. and they are also really hard to find.

DC on the other hand seems to have the same hp results and only costs $270. yet no one has perchased the product and i havet seen a dyno yet.

which do you think is best and if you have any info like hp torque or dynos of either i'm really looking to find them
thanx

well...i have heard TRD headers are good...and i also saw that they weren't on TRD's website which is weird...but you can still get them...

they had about 10 hp gained at the wheels...
and i haven't heard about leaks...whatever you heard is wrong...Toyota makes this product, everything they have is good - perfect..just overpriced...

to me, I am getting headers within the next two weeks and TRD is my top one right now with a TRD exhaust.

here are sum dynos of and rsx i kno it is diff from a celi but i got them off the dc site and it looks to me at least 10 hp gains by the header which are the 4-2-1 like the celi ones. 1st pic is the rsx w/cai and the second is rsx with cai and 4-2-1 headers (all dc sport stuff)

yeah I found that too.. It is OLD the website is OLD. There is no way to buy it, because there is no way to get into contact with anyone at GT fabrications...It looks like it would be pretty good too!!! But damnit...yeah

the RSX responds really well to the Intake, the stock one is very restrictive i installed a injen CAI on my friends type S we have yet to dyno it but it pulls a lot harder than it did before with just an exhaust

Actually dude I've seen dynos (in person) of an RSX-S that got +20 whp off of an AEM CAI. Those damn engines are very restrictive, and respond beautifully to simple bolt-ons.

i believe in those RSX-S dynos... i have actually went and join the RSX club...and ask them how much gain a CAI would give to their RSX-S...they said 17whp at the average...

those damn honda engines have a lot and i mean A LOT of potential...

the trd header is not in the trd catalog because it is JDM...you have to ship it from japan. also, it's like $800 so think twice before you buy.

i still havnt seen dynos of the gts dc motorsports headers yet..although dc motorsports promises good gains and judging from dc's history that's not hard to beleive--they're always producing top of the line quality parts.

also, the header is supposed to be right under $400 most places so imo, i'd take the 50% cut anyday and get this header instead of paying out the ass for a jdm header (might as well go trial and get 11 whp for about the same price)
