thats the vis invader hood, you can usually find it in a ballpark figure of $500.

my advice: i woudlnt put that hood on a celica with a stock exterior (no bodykit)..it's a very aggressive hood and i would definately recommend getting a body kit first.

how much would a replica body kit cost to buy and also get painted. and iv read some posts where people say to drop the car and get new tires/rims before the body kit but if i did that i dont think i would ever get around/save up enough money to get to the hood.

replica kits can cost you $350 and up... authentics can cost you $450 and up
Add about another $120 to $160 for shipping of a full kit

Paint & install of a full replica kit can be $400 to $1600
Paint & install of a genuine kit can be $400 to $500

either way - do what you want to your car - ultimately, you are the one paying the bills, not others...

if you want the hood first, go for the hood first - you may look at it and see that everything flows nicely to your tastes... or you could look at it and agree with needing needing a kit, drop and wheels for your car

...or you might just decide after you have the hood installed to your car, its not your style anymore and you want to go for more race and just leave your car looking bone-stock and spend your money on more Performance modifications

the hood you've chosen might also flow well with the correct graphics scheme (aha!! no body kit needed grin)

these are a few different directions to head in... its your choice what you choose to do though - don't let others tell you how to spend your money, and push you into driving a car design that you really would rather not have...

I personally like the "STOCK" look and may be headed back in the direction soon

Best of luck on whatever you choose thumbsup

Excellent splice, I think that hood is too overpowering for a stock Celica, a body kit etc. would even it out.
