Well, I think it's time for me to get new tires, so I was thinking about getting bigger rims. I have a GTS, and I was thinking about these 17 inch Modas HERE. [cgi.ebay.com] Question is, will they fit my car. I believe they will, but just want a second opinion.

Also, the lug pattern isn't given for these HERE [cgi.ebay.com] , but will they fit my car? I know they are 19's, so they are huge, but besides that, do all Moda R6 rims have a bolt pattern of 5-100?

Any feedback would be appreciated because I have never shopped for rims before, but I believe that if they have the 5-100 bolt pattern then they will fit. Don't know about the 19's though.

Thanks.

I checked the first set on tirerack.com for the VR6 (the car the guy had the rims on) and they have a 5-100 bolt pattern, so I'm confident that the first set of rims will fit.

I just don't know about the second set because the guy didn't mention the bolt pattern, and because they are a little big.

19s will fit on a celica, you will obviously need super-lo profile tires though if you want to prevent bottoming out on every small bump.

also, the moda r6's do come in a 5 X 100 pattern thumbsup

Why not go for 18s at the most? With 19s you're gonna need real low profile tires to avoid bottoming out. And I think you're gonna have to be extremely careful to avoid bending/busting them. If it's a daily driver, 19s might be impractical on a Celica. Just my .02. When you make up your mind and buy the rims, post pix. thumbsup

i have to agree.

the pic i posted about has 18s and they fill up the wheel well fairly well with a few inches to keep from bottoming out.

also, 19s will put a great strain on your drivetrain so you'll have to pay extra attention to this. 18s will be a little less strain and 17s even less, obviously (this depends on the weight of the wheel, obviously..but as a rule of thumb 19s weigh more than 18s weigh more than 17s weigh more than 16s...)
