Okay I've got $500 to spend on tires for the summer. I've got aluminum 15" Mb-Motoring rims.

My dad's been raving about his Michelin Pilots all season, but I want something a little more sporty than all seasons.

I want something that's good for handling/daily driving, but also has good traction sicne I plan on going to the track this summer. I've got a completely stock suspension if that make smuch of a difference. Thanks in advance for the suggestions guys smile

Yoko's thumbsup

if they make the Parada Spec II in 15's then I would go w/those. Since they're gonna be your summer tires you don't have to worry about how much they suck in the rain.

my friend has those on his 2.5rs, they are awesome for summer only. Great grip, a little noisy at first but handle great...

BACKORDER NOTE: Falken is having a hard time delivering the 14 and 15 inch tire sizes. As a result, some of these tires may currently be on backorder. (see price list below) We are receiving Azenis on a regular basis from Falken. In fact, we just received hundreds on 3/23/04, however each and every one of these tires went to fill our backorders. It is highly suggested that you backorder these tires if you want a set ASAP. " "

I've got 15's frown I'm looking to buy in the next few weeks

I'm not sure how true that statement is, I've ridden in the car for some hard autocross style driving and been pretty impressed so far...pole positions are pretty good as well, go to tirerack and do a search then read the reviews, its the only way to really know. Tires are everything so dont just listen to what people say here, do your homework...

I've read up on them more, and it seems like the tread wear is pretty poor. 5,000 miles and they are pretty worn !?!

Its between these and some michelins

here's some reviews on the Yokohama AVS ES100 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=AVS+ES100& they do score at 5th out of 44 tires, but some have said they wear out too fast & they are too loud but you can't have everything i guess. here are some other options>> ]http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compare1.j...p;x=17&y=2] [tirerack.com] Info on Speed ratings>> http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/general/speed.jsp

Thanks for all the suggestions guys but I think I've made a decision.

Tommorrow I'm gonna pick up 4 new Michelin Hydroedges [discounttire.com] 195-60-15. The reason I decided to just go with these was because I'm getting them for free smile and we do get some pretty bad rain storms in the summer.

If it wasn't for them being free i would suggest against them becasuse we only get rain storm's in late april through early june the rest of the summer is dry dry dry.
