I'm taking in my car to get it seen because i messed it up pretty bad transmission wise, question is should i take out my cold-air Intake or not? Will it void my 60,000 powertrain warranty? Guy that works @ the toyota place says i don't need to take out the cold air Intake so what do you guys think?

if they know about it already, no sense in taking it out.

He told me i didn't have to take the cold air Intake out and it wouldln't void my warranty. He said that you'would have got to have done something to the engine itself to void the warranty, and the cold air Intake is just a minor mod. but what should i do(take it out or not?)

The only way they will void it is if they can prove that your Intake is what is causing the tranny problem, and that doesnt seem to be the case.

they can't void your warrent 'cuz you have an Intake. they have to prove that it was the Intake that caused the problem, but in your case, it's not engine related.

I used to go in with Intake, exhaust, lowered etc... not a peep about the mods. I wouldn't worry about it but I do seem to have a very helpful dealer compared to some of you guys.
