help me out please people.
i have a 91 celica GTS and my doors wont open... the lock seems to be disengaging BUT teh handles will not release the latch... i need help (a pic or diagram) to find out how to "slim jim" or "coat hanger" teh latch. thanks

did you buy it from another person? how do you close ur door?

Can you open it from the inside(hoping it's just one door)? If so then its probably the latch in the outside door handle thats broken or really really loose. If you can, and I'm not telling you to do this, get inside the door itself and see if you can't find the solution there.

neither door will open, but i know its from different reasons (passenger door was tried to be broken into once and it screwed things up inside)... im jsut concerned with the driver door at the moment, as for getting in, ive been going through the trunk... (this is a project in the works, the car is not on the road and i only bought it a few days ago.)

anyone got a picture or diagram on the internals in the driver door? i needa find out where exactly the latch release is and whether it is on the inside or outside of the glass.

Go in through the other side, there shoudl be a metal hook inside the mechanizm...if its is not hooked up hook it up to the handle and it shoudl be fixed sorry about the working I am just in a hurry! I am going to get fixed for a tux for prom...maybe Isaac has some of his miracle pics?
