im considering one of these for my gt but do not know which one should go on first?

injen is aobut 300 and the trd exhasut is about 600 with intallation from the dealership

this will be my first mod on my car and what do you peopel think should go on first?
please consider this will be my only mod until september because i am going on a trip that will cost about 8k so i need one that will satisfy my daily driving for a few months

also should i get a cold air Intake or the short ram? ( i really dont know the difference)

and i do not have a body kit but should i get the TRD extended exhaust?

please help im very confused

well if i were you i would get the exhaust first and install it urself. It's bolt-on so save you lots..u said cost you $600 for the TRD + installation?? damn bro i think you can get both for that price..TRD exhuast plus ur CAI..Injen Shortram= easier to clean, look better for show..the CAI= lil more hp then shortram, harder to clean you have to take off ur bumber, when you pop the hood all you see are the Intake tube, filter hide behind the driver's front wheel well. If you looking to buy body kit in the future you betta get the TRD Extended..or else it won't fit..TRD exhaust cost around $400-500..Injen shortram is around $210..

p.s. you u're buying CAI i'd suggest getting the AEM for $175 + shipping..on eBay..that way you can have both mods. since you got $600 to spend..Good Luck

hey thats a good idea to get it online...
but the problem is i do not have any tools to install the exhaust...i pretty sure you need a lift or something to get your car up and i do not have that...

this is why i have those high prices, i am including installation from my local tuner shop and from toyota

Yes it will fit on the stock body and no, it will not stick out that far in my opinion. Here are a couple pix of it w/the stock bumper..

but the second one looks decent

i might get a body kit but it will not be anytime soon so...im guessing i should go with standard or are there people out there that have a stock bumper with extended exhaust and are happy with the look?

hey bro, you don't need a credit card..u have a checking account?? if you do you should have a CheckCard..look exactly like a crdit card but the checkcard is ur check..use like crdit card, ebay take ur money the same way as if you wrote them a check..but first you need to sign up for PayPal. www.paypal.com [paypal.com] and use them..some seller with take Money Order if you email them...i'm pretty sure you can find a friend of ur who have the car jack, not the one in ur car..the big ass one..the one with the handle that's like 3-4foot long and you crank it to raise the car up..betta to do that then waste more money having someone else do it for u..all you need are some dish washer soap, long strong screw driver(philip/allen) a friend, and that's it..plus that way you know more about ur car and how things are connected and such..go here for ur Intake: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...;category=38634 [cgi.ebay.com] free shipping. or http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...;category=38634 [cgi.ebay.com] plus $18 shipping fee.

Well how long are you planning on going without a bodykit? If you did get the standard, you could always take it to a muffler shop when you did get the body kit on and have them extend the piping.

thats kinda stretching it but you get the idea that i have troubles workin alone which is why im always trying to find a local meet to get to knwo people that really know what they are doing but so far i had no such luck

The tip has nothing to do with it being elongated.

you should check out the "installs" section on this cite..and when you do install it urself..u should take ur time, i do mean TAKE UR TIME..i know you don't want to screwed up ur car, i know how it feel to mess something up..but that's y you should study ur material/instruction thoroughly, make sure you understand it and then print a copy just in case and do the installing afterward..that's how i do it before i bought my Intake..save me $30-50 bucks of having local shop install it..Well post a thread asking if someone who live close by, like 30-1hrs drive from you who are willing to help you install it for u..i'm sure you can find atleast one good samaritan on here.
