Ok, I've narrowed down my choices or rims to these two...REV Model II and the REV Boost.

Model II (18X7.5) offset is 45mm

Boost (18X7.5) offset is 42mm

I'm planning on getting 18s. Are those offsets ok? Will I have to get a really low-profile tire if I get 18s?

What do you think?

Go with #1 they look nice thumbsup. The offsets are fine...i would recommend 225/40/18 for tires

Is the width of the tire you suggested (225) pre-determined by the rim you buy or how does that work?

nah, you dont have to go with (225) you could go with (215) if you like. Its up to you...if you want wide tires

2nd one. I'd go with a 225/40 cuz' it'll be less expensive than a 215/35.

to some extent, yes.

basically if your rim is 7.5" wide (like the stock celi tire) you can go with 205, 215, or 225. these are your tire width that fit the best. 225 is more popoular in the aftermarket because obviously it is a wider tire so your traction will be increased thumbsup

to answer another one of your questions:

if you get 18" wheels with a 40 profile tire (225/40/18, for example) your overall wheel/tire diameter will only go up 1" (since you live in canada that's about 18mm)

this should help (you plug in your stock wheel/tire size and then plug in your desired wheel/tire size):

The 1st one looks really good. IMO 215/35/18 tires look the best since you don't have a big thick tire, which looks ugly.
