hey guys. when i set my digital read out to display the temperature... it says OC and i was wondering if anybody could help me out. my home girl has a tahoe and she says this happened to her too but she didn't know how to fix it. does anybody know what this means or how to reset the mirror. i tired holding buttons and different combinations of holding buttons. there's gotta be a way. btw, i'd check my manual but i left it at my friend's house. damnit. help me out!!!

It might have something to do with the temperature/location sensor. Have it checked out by Toyota.

I think you have it set to 0 Celcius wich is standard for the JDM models Just keep hitting the button till it switches to 0 F or F... I dunno. I remember screwing with mine but I remember I fixed it. confused

sounds like a sensor problem.

Might need to be reset (should be a way to do this)

Could also be broken.

anybody out there that actually bought it and has the manual can show me how to reset this damn thing?

Just checked my papers that came with my car and I had a sheet with the instructions to the mirror. Under trouble shooting it says

The visual display reads "OC".
The mirror detects that the temperature sensor is open. Check the temperature probe for damage and connection to mirror via harness.

The probe should be attached to your front bumper and also check you wiring harness, hope that helps.

btw, problem fixed a few weeks ago. the sensor wasn't attached to the harness. it's clipped underneath the front bumper along the center for anybody who might encounter this problem in the future. thumbsup
