i see a few dying thier dashes black...is there a way you can dye them white...or is paint the only option???

Those of us who are going with the black dashes aren't really using dye. We're (I and a couple others anyway) using an elastomeric paint made by a company called SEM.

So, i guess... the answer to your question is that paint is really kind of the only way. The SEM though, will hold up almost as well as the plastic dash pieces themselves.

yep... whiter than the snow around a fire hydratn after a visit from the neighborhood stray terrier... rofl

WAIT... whiter than the driven snow... that sounds better
