Celica Forums General Discussion Videos, Pictures, and Audio Clips Photoshop/choping

I noticed that on some of the posts, that people have "photochoped" different parts for our celicas. For instance, i saw a post that a member used photochop, and put a new set of rims using photo chop. My question to anyone who knows is, how do you copy a picture from an internet, lets say a rim, to your car? I opened a picture of my celica using photoshop. I went to motegiracing.com to check out some rims, and i found some i like. How can i copy a rim from their website onto my picture? I know this might seem and sound easy, and i thought i would be able to do it myself, but i cant. Im not too familiar with this photochop stuff. Or is there another program that yall use? Thanks

u gotta use a tool...cut it out and paste onto new pic...easy easy to do...just gottas learn i guess

Im not quite sure what you mean...Do you cut save it and then open it seperatly? Do you just copy it onto the pic itself? But once you do that, i cant seem to find how to move the cut out rim into place? Wierd..I guess its just not my day...Is there a specific tool you use for all this?

Make a selection with the proper tool. (Marquee, oval, lasso, pen, etc.) Hit Ctrl+C to copy to the clipboard, then Ctrl+V to paste into a new layer on the image you want to alter. Then hold Ctrl and click on the new layer in the stack (on the Layers rollout) This will highlight your selection. Then right-click on the selection > Free Transform. Right click again for more options (perspective, skew etc.) then double click or enter to engage your changes. Hope this helps...

You can just save it in a folder er whatever and then open it in PS and copy-paste it onto the pic of your car. You may have to make a few adjustments to the image size and crop it some before sticking it to your car. Just play with it and you should figure it out.
