I've asked this on another thread, but figured I'd give it one of it's own.

I have an '04 GTS (drive by wire), and the pedal gives me between a half inch to an inch of play before the engine responds.
I'm wondering if it's like that on all of these cars with drive by wire, of if it's something I can just adjust. Or should I take it to the dealer and have them fix it?
(I live kind of far from a dealer, so I'm hoping I can fix it myself, but it is under warranty still.)

Thanks!

I believe there is a dial adjustment inside the cabin under the steering wheel.

On my car, never seen an 04 underneath

Ok, thank you folks.
I think I'll have to be takin' it to the dealer (which sux, because I'm a few hours away from the nearest one tongue )

I haven't been able to find any adjustments anywhere, but I'm gonna keep looking still.

I found a little plasic black piece that says something like OBD II or some such. Has various wires running from it, but I don't know what it is. Anyways, it's not an adjustable piece wink

Thanks!
