We all know the term Ricey rice, but I just feel bad because some people are not even asian and are given that title. We should all improve our vocabulary and learn some new terms...

Like if a car looks ricey and is driven by a mexcain then it would be consider "beanie"

If it's driven by a white person we all might think "Red Neck" but that is for people with farm equipment. I think the right term should be "Cheesey" [just so it Rhymes]

Don't tell me you didn't learn something new today. rofl

I think there is more to the term rice.. I know for the most part it originated in the 80's or earlier when sport bikes started to really show-up. People on cruise bikes and Harley's and such would see these sport bikes and since those sport bikes were from Japan and they were lightweight and pretty agile and quick, the term Rice Rocket was born. So I think some where a long the line, when people starting modding their Japanese cars, that old term came back and it was just a general description that we now know as "ricey."

But "rice" can be so subjective, I think a better term is just plain and simply a car that's way over done because some people will have some tasteful mods and then altezza style lights and people will call "rice" which is kind of stupid imo, even though I am not one for altezza.
