Ok im stumped. I know this isnt about my celica but i need my beater to drive to work cause no way ill drive my gts there, lol. But anyways, i have a 92 ford thunderbird and the thing idles at 2000 rmps and accelerates to about 35 on its own. Ive tried a new throttle position senor and a new idle air sensor and niether worked and the throttle cable isnt stuck angry. If anyone has any ideas please let me know cause i have no clue what is wrong with it other then it being a ford which means its a pos. THANKS

If you checked and replaced the idle sensors etc, then I would look into purchasing a new ECU. You may be able to salvage one from a wrecked car.

:rotf: :rotf: LOL, yeah i know having permanent cruise control sounds like a blast but trying to drive in a 15 or 25 mph zone or behind someone is kind of difficult seeing as how i either have to ride the brakes, lol. But ill look into a new ECU thanks thumbsup, any thing else you guys thing it could be?
