Best advice I can give you is to look in your owners manual... it's pretty clear in there. Also, having a small mirror to see what you're doing on the passenger side helps. thumbsup

this is the head lights, right? easy steps:
pull the plug, take out the rubber housing (just peel it), push the spring in and up(or is it down?), swing the spring around to left(direction while you seating in driver seat), slowly pull the bulb out, unplug from the base.

insert your new bulb(do not touch any glass part) on the plug base, reinsert back(it should fit perfectly), swing the spring back on so it can cover the bulb, place rubber housing back on, and plug it back in. done...

small hands also helps too, and make sure you plug the housing back on tight...anymore question, just read your manual. it's in the last few pages...help this helps...

hum, ok, i think there is a small hole tht plug the spring to the base. now, if you can see it, put it back in. if you have problem locating it. i suggest you to take the whole head light unit off. i think it's like 3 or 4 bolt that holds it down...you can look into the install section for removing the unit...

I hear ya, it was a total b!tch to change the bulbs. After painting my headlights, one thing I learned was this. If I ever change my bulbs again, I'm going to totally pull out the light. Then there's no screwing around, and will probably take half the time. For me, the drivers side was pretty easy but I bet it took a good half hour to do the passenger side.

Never again. I'll just pull the lights out, swap the bulbs in about 2 seconds and put them back on the car.

I got my bulbs finished-I just think the color stinks. I'm gonna wait a while to see if it grows on me. If it doesn't, back to the drawing board. See, I've got a theme with my car, Black and silver paint, green lighting. Kinda like a "matrix" thing. If these "green" bulbs don't work out, I don't know what to do next. They're "EURODEZIGNS" brand. frown

i was thinking about the green bulbs being legal in any state. in any case, once you swap a set of bulbs in any toyota car, they're all the same...plug, rubber housing, spring...

the fenders are the next project-hood-maybe-probably just make a hood scoop for it. Don't know about tinting, just because cops are wierd about it around here-and it's hard enough to see inside the thing with the wing on it. An engine cover is being made for it right now, but I need to find a TRD emblem to go on it-I've got ideas, but I need to get a job for some $$$.
