why is it that it seems like I have no real power intill I hit around 4000 rpm. Thats about when it seems to throw you back in your seat but getting there, there doesnt seem like much.

Lift is at around 6000

In parkour, no one is afraid. One is just...apprehensive.

It's just that our cars don't have much power down low. If you look at a torque curve, there is nothing down low. There is some improvement around 4000 RPM, then lift at 6000

In a GT the fun stuff kicks in at 4000. Big noticeable push at that time.

Brian63: You can get a short ram Intake. They give you etter low end. Adn the CAI give you better high end.

I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.

GTSHYPR, how much does a short ram Intake cost and is it difficult to put on?

I have GT with shortrram Injen and it made big difference on low end. I can honestly say it puts me back in the seat some from a dead stop. Kicks at 4200 rpm again. Its from 6000 rpm it kinda peters out. The Injen Short Ram is usually a little over $200. Sounds great too.
